Monthly meeting dates are listed below.
Join us as we explore An Altar in the World by Barbara Brown Taylor Taylor where the author shares how she learned to find God beyond the church walls by embracing the sacred as a natural part of everyday life.
An Altar in the World shares:
- Meaningful ways to discover the sacredness within the small things like walking, working, and prayer.
- How your ordinary tasks can be a chance to meditate if you take time to notice the sights, smells, and sounds around you.
- The importance of true human connection.
Taylor shows us how to discover altars everywhere we go and in nearly everything we do as we learn to live with purpose, pay attention, slow down, and revere the world we live in!
