In Times of Fear and Anxiety
Saturday, May 30, 2026
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
St Scholastica Monastery
We are living in a time of fear, worry, and anxiety in our nation. In addition, many are facing personal stressful situations. There are, however, ways to find inner peace in these circumstances and times.
Spend a day learning and actively engaging in simple and proven methods from psychology, ancient and modern wisdom and spiritual traditions that can bring inner peace and lead to a more peaceful life in general. While you will be learning new skills, this is primarily an experiential retreat, allowing you to spend a day away from the troubles that are always demanding our attention and finding wellness and peace.
Facilitator: The Reverend Father Yanchy Lacska, Ph.D.
is an Orthodox-Catholic priest, an interfaith minister, a pastoral counselor and spiritual director, who has worked as a psychotherapist, college professor, hospital chaplain, and is a qigong teacher and healer. He is the author of Finding the Way, The Life of a Seeker, published by Wisdom House Books.
