What is a Sabbatical?

A sabbatical is a period of time that is set aside from a career, ministry or vocation for the purpose of personal renewal.

The idea of ‘sabbatical’ comes from the Hebrew Scriptures and is reflected in the creation story when God rested from all work.  Sabbath days were a regular part of ancient Hebrew tradition which met the human need for rest, renewal and reflection.

Whether you are in ministry, education, healthcare or any other vocation, a sabbatical plan can be crafted to meet your needs!
