"Reframing Our Stories with Hope"

Saturday, January 25, 2025

9:30 a.m. to Noon (followed by lunch)

 St. Scholastica Monastery

Cynthia Bourgeault’s insights from her book Mystical Hope will help us reframe our stories, using new language that invites us to find our place in the net of God’s mercy. Our time together will include both personal and group reflection. This retreat is for anyone who wants to grow in hope and can be especially helpful for those who accompany others, such as spiritual directors, life coaches, chaplains, and related ministries.

Facilitator: Becky Van Ness, OblSB started the certificate program in spiritual direction at Saint John’s University and taught there for a number of years before retiring.  She continues to do spiritual direction and offer workshops and retreats at the Spirituality Center of Saint Benedict’s Monastery in St. Joseph, Minnesota, where she is an oblate.
